Our mission is to provide holistic services to improve mental, physical and social emotional health for our Athletes.  

Mental Health 

Our LAVA team includes providers and coaches who deliver access to customized prevention, intervention, and Community Occupational Athletic Centered Health (COACH). 

Community Development 

The Rose That Grew
From Concrete Project: 
We remodel battered playgrounds and vacant lots by providing new and improved sports themed equipment. This project also works with local schools and service providers to build special needs playgrounds.  

Service Learning 

V.O.I.C.E. Volunteering Opportunities in Community Education 

Our Athletes help elderly residents with landscaping, remodeling, cleaning, grocery shopping and more.

Able Athletes Program 

We identify athletes who have financial barriers that may hinder their performance. We provide food, shelter, clothing, sports equipment and mental health services. 

Mentor Coaches 

​We provide education and training for our members to become certified coaches and mentors for the purpose of improving the coach and athlete experience.

Performing Arts and Music Production 

We conduct theatrical workshops that allow our Athletes to creatively express themselves. Some of our Athletes have experienced serious trauma in their lives.
